From Cherry to Coffee

Here's how coffee cherries become the beans you love.

1. Harvesting
Ripe, red coffee cherries are handpicked or selectively harvested at the right time for the best flavour and quality.

2. Processing
The cherries are processed using different methods — Dry, Honey or Wet — each bringing out unique flavours and characteristics in the beans.

3. Drying
The beans are carefully dried to the right moisture level, either in the sun or using controlled methods, depending on the process.

4. Hulling & Sorting
The dried beans are hulled to remove the outer layers, sorted by size and quality, and then prepared for roasting.

5. Roasting & Grinding
The beans are roasted to bring out their rich aroma, flavour and character, and then ground to perfection — ready to be enjoyed.
THE PROCESS

The way coffee cherries are processed makes a big difference in the final taste. We offer beans processed using three careful methods — Dry, Honey and Wet — each with its own unique profile and flavour notes.

Dry Process
The whole cherries are dried in the sun, giving the beans a bold, rich and full-bodied flavour with earthy notes.

Honey Process
The skin is removed, but some mucilage is left, adding natural sweetness and a smooth, complex flavour.

The cherries are fully washed, resulting in a clean, bright and crisp flavour with higher acidity
